Check out some of the amazing sights Lombok has on offer
With countless beaches to visit, one of the most amazing sites is Batu Payung, which translates to Umbrella Rock.
Over thousands of years the water has eroded the base of the rock to such a circumference, that it seems impossible that it is still standing.
Located at the very eastern edge of Lombok, and known for it’s pink shores, is Tangsi Beach.
Don’t expect hot pink sand, but more of a salmon tinted glow and crystal clear waters.
Waste the day away drinking coconuts and basking in the sun.
Whats a holiday without a little waterfall action.
Lombok has many waterfalls you can visit, unfortunately none too close to Kuta, but totally worth the drive to the base of Mount Rinjani in the North of the island.
Sendang Gile and Tui Kelep waterfall, and considered the best.
Some a little closer are Bengang Stokel and Kelambu Waterfalls, they are located in the centre of the island.
If you are really feeling energetic, climbing Mount Rinjani and getting a breath taking view of the crater lake ‘Segara Anak’, is an amazing experience, but this is no easy feat.
This package tour can be booked with several local companies.
